Hillel engages and empowers students in meaningful public service and inspires students to address social justice issues creatively. Through a variety of volunteer projects, students are able to explore Jewish values and social justice.
Bagging Lunches for the Kiddos!
Once a month, we prepare over 40 healthy lunch meals for the kids at the Genesis Shelter.
Believe it or not, it only takes Hillel about 20 minutes to make over 40 meals for kids at the Genesis Shelter. This facility has been recognized nationally for providing a holistic program to empower and provide for families in Atlanta.
And of course, there is free lunch involved.

Shabbat at the Breman
We have welcomed in the Shabbos with the residents at the William Breman Jewish Home. Students from Georgia State University, Kennesaw State University, and Georgia Tech worked together to light candles, sing songs, do Kiddush and do Hamotzi with these wonderful Bubbes and Zaydes.
Canned Food Drive
Who knew college students could be so competitive about canned goods? GSU Hillel competed with KSU Hillel and collected 500 pounds of canned goods in just 45 mintues! T
